Exciting times as I am scheduled for walkthrough of my new Forest River Sand Piper 403RD on August 13 ( Friday). Guess it a good thing that I am not superstitious!!
Intend on being long term living in this trailer.
Will be posting to ask if any body has suggestions on what to look for during my walk through, in particular any problematic areas that are best caught before the trailer leaves the dealership especially, slide operation - weak areas to look at, Electrical systems- running of wire harness possible flex rub points to pay attention to, plumbing - again possible routing issues for the potable water and gray water ( leaks that may have been problematic for others, Etc.
My background is ground equipment mechanic for major airlines, and believe in being through.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Congrats on your new Forest River Sand Piper 403RD! There id a PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) checklist under the library tab above. Print it off to take with you. Have them fix anything that isn't right before you sign off or hand over any $, NO 'we owe you' certificate.

Welcome to the forum. There is a PDI form you can down load and take with you on your walk through. Go to the green header bar at top pf page click on Library and seach for PDI. (Pre delivery inspection) It a good tool and make them repair any thing before you leave. Later RJD
