Welcome to Forest River Forums!
There are some/many great parks in TN and KY!
We want to explore your great state more in the future.
A few years back we had a great early spring stay at a little park just south of the
Dale Hollow lake dam called
Standing Stone state park TN. Great old hand laid stone dam on a little
CCC built lake in the park. Wonderful hiking on some old trails also laid out
by the CCC.
Last summer we spent several days at Fall Creek Falls state park TN.
They boast the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi. It's HIGH but sorta
slim in the dry season. Also a great hiking park. They offer some reservable
and some first come first served camping in their campground. I think most
have electric and water. AND they have a wonderful large old swimming
pool with 2 diving boards. Insurance regs have nearly eliminated diving
boards from public pools. They still have them!
Tennessee state parks are a bargain too.
I've just scratched the surface of places to camp!!
Happy Camping!
