Welcome, i am sure you still have snow....Moved to Fla 3 years ago but spent a lot of time snowmobiling the tug hill plateau....miss it until i remember my fingers and toes in the cold. and i don't miss blowing the driveway, now i fish and golf......

i moved from the halmet of Wallkill, Town of Newburgh.....last kid graduated h.s. and we moved to Fla a week later.....can't complain, taxes went from $9750 to $2700... miss the people and the seasons.....but i am not complaining......coming up in August.....

Hello from the Adirondacks of New York! I too love the 1000 Islands, we camped at Wellsley Island in our old Class C Apache. We have been there twice to Alexandria Bay Area.

Welcove, we love the adirondacks. When we lived in NY our son played travel ice hockey and we made lots of trips to Lake Placid and Lake George and Albany area. Used to camp in an old Army tent with my mom and dad and 4 brothers in Indian Lake. Hope to get up there in the summer, if I can get away from my Fl landscaping business for a few weeks!!!

Welcome from Western New York and the Buffalo area! Haven't made the 1000 Island area yet with RV but did boat up that way twice during the boating days. Loved it and hope to get up that way with the camper. Have done Lake George and area once. Favorite New York State region is the Finger Lakes, especially Keuka Lake.

When and where did your son play travel hockey? Both my boys played for the Nassau County travel team. One son played to '93 and my other son played to '96. Both went on to play in college (Buffalo and Stoney Brook.
We are heading to the Thousand Islands this Memorial Day weekend. Hope it warms up by then!!!

Hudson valley ice time polarbears in newburgh. He was born in 1990. Played from mite until h.s. Then went to collage in fla. Still plays ice here occationally in bradenton, ft myers and estero. Plays roller every monday night locally, pick up games with a bunch of local cops.misses real hockey up north....but loves to fish just as much..

Where in nassau are you from. I grew up in manhasset and rfoslyn, got married and moved to the hudson valley in 1998
