Hello from Virginia Beach. We are currently shopping for a replacement for our 2008 5er, but are keeping our Silverado 2500HD Duramax. We had a popup for 12 years, and moved to the fifth wheel in 2008. So far it has traveled over 40,000 miles.

We are both amateur radio operators.

Welcome from North-westerners who lived for three years in Hampton, working at NASA-Langley (1971-74). the rest of the family loved the area. Our kids thought they were being deprived if we hadn't visited either Yorktown or Jamestown for a couple of weeks.

Personally, I couldn't handle the combination of temperature and humidity. We're ex-pat Brits and I remember a newspaper headline there in the 1950's that read "74 degrees again tomorrow and no relief in sight". I was overjoyed when, after a three year layoff, Boeing called to see if I'd consider coming back. Been in Washington for all but three of the last 45 years and wouldn't change it for the world.
