Hello from Western New York (WNY)

We, Chris and I, are first time RVer's and first time buyers. We purchased a 2020 Freelander 32DS. LOVE the outdoor kitchen!!

Our home base is North Tonawanda, located on the Niagara river between Buffalo (home of the Bills, the Sabres, and Wings) and Niagara Falls.

I would like to say that the dealer gave us a thorough education on our new RV but unfortunately that's just no the case. We have taken her out 3 times in 3 weeks for long weekends and have had issues each and every time....there is a BIG learning curve for newbies!!!

I am black and blue from head to toe from being in out up and under our RV. You truly need to be a 12 year old contortionist to get into some of the areas of this thing.

To top it off our unit was never dewinterized...UGH!!!! Talk about learning things the hard way!

Chris and I look forward to many years of RVing; she is already retired and I will retire in two years. We have two years to practice before we go long term traveling.

Take care and safe travels, Sue

Welcome from TX.
Sorry to hear about your troubles, but that's part of RVing. I always like to say, it's not a vacation, it's an adventure.

I'm not an expert. But I play one on the internet.
You live & learn or you don't live long.
Remember those that died for us. And remember who killed them.

I already told the dealer that I have learned more about an RV than I ever thought I would need to know! His reply was "you found a silver lining"!!! LOL! My new mantra is "there is a learning curve, there is a learning curve"!!
