Hello from WI, Looking for hot water heater help

My hot water went out and I am looking for help on how to get it out and replace it.

Exactly what happened to it?

Can you give us the make and model of it?
A picture of it would help as well.
The make and model of the RV would help too.

The basic things you'll need to do;
Turn off all power including the 12 volt.
Turn off and drain the water from it.
Remove and access doors or panels inside the RV so you can access the back of it.
Remove the outside access door so you can remove the mounting screws around the flange.
Disconnect the plumbing at the back of the unit.
Disconnect the 120 volt and 12 volt power going to the unit.
Remove any mounting screws inside and out.

At that point you should be able to remove the unit from the RV. You may have to gently pry the caulking loose from the sidewall to get it out.

Having said all that, unless the vessel has sprung a leak, most anything else can be repaired without removing the unit.

Welcome to the forum. As mentioned would help with type of camper and what type water heater. You may have burned out the heating element on the electric side. Have you tried using the gas side if so equip and does it work? Any other info you can provide will help. Later RJD
