Talking Hello from Wisconsin

Hi all. I'm so happy I found this forum. I have just purchased a trailer (2009 FR Salem 36BHSSLE) and feel a little overwhelmed. I have a lot to learn about trailer life and am looking forward to reading through all of your advice!

I am a single mom of two sons; one is in college and one is at home, age 16. My youngest is mentally disabled, so there will be no arguing from a 16 y/o about going "up to the trailer" lol.

I'm so looking forward to it! I'm going to be putting it on a campground and I know we'll love it!

Please bear with me when I inevitably ask silly questions!

Jill

to the forum.

There are no silly questions, so ask away about anything you need to know about your trailer or camping. There are very knowledgeable members on this site, present company not included.

Dogman, me either! I just signed the papers on Saturday and won't even be able to have it delivered until the campground opens in April! It's exciting and a little scary all at the same time lol.

to FRF. We're glad you're here!
One of the first things to remember. Walmart sells quite a bit of the supplies you'll need. They definitely have cheaper prices. Go to campingworld .com and request a catalog. It's really a good reference for all the goodies out there. I'm sure you'll really be enjoying your trailer.

There are no silly questions. The wealth of knowledge here is tremendous and everyone is willing to share.

COME ON SPRINGTIME!!!!

"Come on Spring" is right! I can't wait to try out my new trailer!

The Walmart tip is a good one-I know they have camping "stuff" there.

Welcome to the site. I just found this site a few weeks ago. Seems to be a lot of good info here. Congrats on your new tt, You will enjoy every moment with it. I'm sure your boys will love it.
I spent ten years as a seasonal camper until I bought a MH. It was nice to go every weekend and see my friends and kick back and relax. Anyways have fun.

Welcome aboard. We've got a Salem sitting on a seasonal lot as well. Let me know if you have any questions....
