Hello! New Member here.

Hello,

My wife and I just purchased a Rockwood 2517S. We have not taken delivery of the trailer yet however we are pretty excited. We will not get the trailer until late May. Our tow vehicle is a 96 Ford F350 Crew Cab 4X4 SRW with the 7.3 diesel.

We live in the state of Washington. We have owned our motorhome for the past 15 years and have really enjoyed camping with it as a family. Now our kids are getting to an age where we they are moving out of the house so we figure it is time to get a trailer more suited to us as a couple but still have the sleeping flexibility for our kids to join us as able.

I will have plenty questions and hope to be able to help others by contributing information from time to time as able.

Welcome to Forest River Forums!

There is a lot to this Forum as you have HELPS, USER CP, (which you should complete as much info as you are willing to share. This will help others help you faster and make friends) In the MAIN MENU "FORUMS" Slowly pan down the long lists to find your RV and join that group as that will be the experts on your RV who can share tips, ideas, as well as places to visit to make your adventures last a lifetime.

You can also go to the Forest River website and find your MAKE and Model RV and at the very bottom in BLACK on your LEFT you will find "OWNERS MANUEL" and download it to an SD card or chip in the event you want to review something more closely on your NEW RV.

Welcome again as we are all here to share and help each other.

Welcome to the forum. Make sure to do a good PDI when your picking up camper. PDI guide is available by going to the green header bar above and click on Library and scroll down till you see PDI. Its a printable form and you can take it with you. Make sure they fix everything you find wrong before leaving the dealership. Later RJD

Thank you, my wife and I are really looking forward to using it. I'm finding myself looking WAY too much at accessories for the trailer right now! LOL

Welcome to the forums. Congrats on the new rig! We went the opposite direction and after 19 years went from a 30' trailer to a 25' MoHo!

Thanks! If we were not getting the trailer, we would definitely have gone with a smaller MoHo as you have.
