Hello! New Rogue 26VKS owner

Hi all! We just upgraded to a rogue 26vks from an iconic 1913cb! Finance manager ran me down while I was leaving the service lot checking on warranty work (ramp door, jack, 7 pin, fresh water sensor, furnace not turning off, etc etc) offered to buy us out of contract and get us into a different brand, better floorplan that we were looking at a few months ago. Really excited to take on this larger toy hauler as we're using our hauler more and more and have really started to notice the lack of storage, and room. Glad to be here in such an active community!!

Nice! I like the fifth wheels, but our F250 maxes out towing hitch or fifth around 12 and some change. One of these days!

We had a 25V getting ready for pickup from a dealer and during my setup time I discovered the 26VKS. I found one at a reasonable price and scooped it up! The original dealer was very nice and released me with no charges whatsoever. It was all about the extra bedroom walk space to me at first. But the extra room due to the slide out and the gains in kitchen counter space are awesome! We will be picking it up in a couple of weeks.

I'm wondering about the quality of the entertainment center. The 26VKS also comes with a 200 watt sub woofer in the ceiling. I'm assuming that will be a nice upgrade.

Thanks...

The setup is nice. There is a sub, we haven't tried anything more bass intensive than music, but it's much nicer than our old iconic, much more clear and distortion free. If you have a side by side, you'll more than likely want to pull the passenger side couch it is super tight, and only 12 philips screws holding it in. Generator remote key fob, unless taken out by your dealer, will be in your paperwork with the generator. Check the shower pan during walk around. Our showers low point is under the shelves 180° out from the drain. Make sure to check that the fridge is plugged in to the 110 behind the vent haha. "King bed" in the 26V is an oddball; 66*74; until our 2 33*74's show we grabbed our queen bed, which works for now. Bluetooth response is fast on the entertainment center, so if you have a tv with bluetooth you won't have to hook extra wires up. There's bluetooth for the lippert one control to run awning slide out and lights through your phone. Kitchen storage is great! We'll need to build shelving in the corner cabinet to really utilize that height. We went to Walmart and bought 2 smaller tables that break down because the included one is kind of wonky. Generator is good, little loud but it's because it's a fixed speed, and a little thirsty. We brought our portable generator with us as well because it's a quiet, more fuel efficient setup, if less convenient. Want to know anything else feel free to ask, we're running it through it's paces this weekend!Click image for larger version

I bought a Westinghouse i4500 portable. I will be hauling 2 Harleys for now. No UTV yet. A person can only have so much...lol. We are up north so we snowmobile, but that is a different trailer...

The i4500 will work perfect. We bought that exact model for the last trailer. We've been camping since Thursday night and have only filled it twice and we have been running it pretty much all day from ~7am-12am. We repurposed our old arlo stuff and an extra line on tmobile to keep an eye on remaining generator time and on the dogs when we're outClick image for larger version

You say there is an app for the generator?

For the generator no, but other things yes. Generator has a key fob though, so you don't have to go to the bedroom or the physical generator to turn on/offClick image for larger version

Wouldn't be a bad idea to bring something to restrain the party deck fencing when loading/unloading. We get wind where we live and fought those things the whole timeClick image for larger version
