We picked up our new 2010 roo 232 thre weeks ago, problem is clearing the calander to get out. We went our maiden voyage last week. Awsome, we tent camped first ( Honey moon with only sleeping bags) then had two pop ups, a pop up truck camper, and now the Roo. We feel like we are living in the lap of luxurey.I looked it over and found the the skylight had slightbumps between the screws, the calk covered it. I will keep an eye on it. we tow with a 2004 Nissan Titan and it seems fine ( less strain than the truck camper).
with the extra length, how's it tow? we also first tent camped, til the DW got tired of sleeping on the ground.
then had 2 popups over a 15 year period. we fell in love with hybrids when we saw our first one.
we shopped for 2 years until we got our Roo 23SS. love it.

Bear with me this is my first forum. It has the 4ft bed, I have a Star 650 that we want to carry there. I have not had it on the trailer and towed yet. I have a feeling it is going to change the tow caracteristics. I have the air lift setup from the slide in camper to keep the truck height straight , but am a little concerned about sway especialy with the bike on the platform.
i had never heard fo Roo till we saw this one, have you had yours long?
is there anything I should look out for ? oh well got to go
we've had ours since Nov. '06.
the Roo has been around since 2000. we had seen other hybrids but liked the cabinets, fabrics and floorplans of the Roo.
just keep an eye on the front seals/bunk. driving in rain can force water into the bunk end if canvas is not put away properly. or if the seals get dried out or compressed too much. also your rubber roof caulking needs attention. i'm going to have to address mine this year.
yes I went up un the roof and the calking by the factory was abismal at best. The sky light for the bathroom was the worst. I resealed it with the di-seal tape from camping world. i found this worked well on my Starcraft 800 slide in truck camper skylight. Back then I went to an industrial roofing warehouse to find the tape. It had very good adhesion , and flexed enough for the diferent thermal expansion coeficients of the difrerent materials ( skylight /roof materail) I also had to make a hatch to access the water filter, and the water heater bypass. i wii keep you posted on any other suprises.
