Helloooo from CO
Greetings!
I've been lurking here for 8 week or so, but only now felt qualified to post an introduction, since we survived our first night out with the new 2014 Roo 183!
Thanks to everyone for the many posts of helpful information. For a newbie, these TTs are somewhat complicated.
We drove the TT for the first time from Boulder Co to Grand Lake CO this weekend. I've never seen my gas gauge move that fast!!! But, then again, I was towing from Boulder (5430') up over Berthoud Pass (11,300'), down to Grand Lake (8500'?) and back. But my little Nissan with the towing package coolers did a great job! But, 55 was Vmax. I might need a V8 solution.......Has anyone towed with a 5.7L Sequoia AND an Armada and can compare?

Oh, and I forgot to mention: I christened the RV by dumping a full push-pot of coffee and grounds on the stove. Smooth move, eh?

Welcome! Well someone christened ours the other day by knocking over a glass of red wine! Luckily the vast majority landed on someones shirt!
Enjoy the fall camping!

Welcome! We used to live in Longmont. CO is truly God's country and wish we were still there. You are a brave soul to tackle that drive on your first outing.

Thanks!! It wasn't that bad a drive, actually. Super scenic, too.

Sadly, I think I'd bust the $h1t out of my camper if I slammed a Champagne bottle on it. They're over-engineered cardboard boxes, in my opinion.

Yes but the hitch does/can serve more than one purpose.......

Welcome, live in Denver, have had one trip in 2013 Roo 21ss, pull it with my 2011 Nissan Titan 5.6 , plenty of power, gas gauge goes down while you watch. through Eisenhower tunnel, over Vail to Grand Junction , while there it snowed on Vail , wet coming home . Happy with all so far, it did get a good rain test. Of course the Titan does not get very good gas milage anyway.

Welcome from Arvada. Have lived here 38 years and love it. Great state for camping...try the Cheyenne Mtn. State Park campground in CO Springs. Full Hookups and gorgeous scenery.
