Help! New Trailer Owners...Our slide out won't come out

Please help, we are camping and put slideout is acting crazy...one side seems to be sliding fine and the other side not so much...we have checked for blockage but can't find anything. We have had the trailer only a month and have gone one a couple of trips no problem. We are at a full hookups site

Sorry to hear about your problems. I don't have a lot of experience with slides. I had a problem with a fuse that blew out on our Salem 27RKSS. Ended up having to move it manually. Can you see if the motor is running and the track is engaged? Also check to see if you have a cotter pin. Mine wouldn't work when I took it out.

Would help to know what kind of trailer and slide you have--electric motor, hydraulic, cable, rack, or ?

Thank you for the info, we have a wildwoodx-lite. It's electric...looks like a zipper. We were able to get it out by pushing on one side to keep it even...one side seems to be moving faster than the other causing it to bind.

If it's a Schwintek, these may help you. There's some duplication in them.

If you need to get to the controller box, it's often placed behind a "fake" cabinet door. Look for a door with 2 hinges on one side and a hinge, instead of a knob, on the other. I've attached a pic of mine (the door with no knob on the bottom left). Remove the screws from the 3rd hinge and swing it open.
