Hey all from the st louis area..

Hey we are new to the camper world so any input would be great! Just purchased a 2018 274dbh that we are going to leave on a lot. We will have water sewer and power and plan on putting a car port over trailer. Is there anything special we should do to need to know? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Congrats on your new rig.

Buy a Progressive Industries EMS system to match your trailers amperage hookup.

Welcome from north central Florida!

Don't leave your black water hose hooked up and draining all the time. From what I understand, things will dry out and turn to concrete. Water in the tank is essential to keep it so you can easily drain it. Hook it up and drain it every three or four days, or however long it takes you to fill the tank.

Welcome to the forum. I am just west of St Louis. Congratulations on your 2018 274dbh. Sounds like a good idea putting a shelter over the RV to help protect if from the weather. Make the carport large enough to get the RV in and out when needed. Keep your roof sealed even though it is covered.
When leaving at the end of your stay, it is a good idea to turn off electricity and water.
If the RV is going to be parked for any length of time it is always nice to cover the tires.
If the place you are parked at doesn't have security then put everything up or store it. Even your water hose and electrical hook up have value to someone.
Good luck and enjoy your Camper.
