Wilkins

[QUOTE= I'm hoping Wilkins RV is a decent dealer, I'm kinda jaded from really bad experiences with FCA dealers.[/QUOTE]

If you type "Wilkins" into the Search field up top you will see some positive review of Wilkins - both the Bath and Victor (Rochester) locations.

We purchased our current RV at Wilkins's Bath location. It was worth the 2 hour trip (plus the scenery from Geneva South is beautiful.) Since that time Wilkins now has added a location within 10 miles from our house.

We had the RV back for warranty work in 2017 and Wilkins and FR were great to deal with (motor quit in the awning and needed to be replaced.

Wilkins offers periodic educational seminars to their customers and I've attended several. Before I forget, welcome to the forums.

Victor is where were getting it. This week they’re having a hot cocoa bar and donuts. We were going to go anyways but then found out the TT was in.

The scenery is beautiful going to Bath.

Educational seminar is coming up and were going then they’re having a chili cook off right after it in Victor. Its RV Safety and Towing Tips.

We try to do our research in advance. We both work in Technical Fields and so by the end of the day we hate surprises.

Well I did it myself thanks for pointing out where it was. I've started looking it over and making notes for other specifics we need to pay attention too. I've come to realize the RV/TT community appears to be fairly open and willing to discuss things. I'm liking so far.

Sometimes you get more info/opinions than you want, and some you don’t. LOL

Cute! Wondering what the big differences are between this Apex model and their GeoPro line.

**First thing I noticed is the windows slide open, my windows tilt open from bottom. Also noticed you have steps that fold down, different than our MORryde steps.

Just remember that Coachmen is still a somewhat independent division of Forest River Inc. Just like Dynamax and PrimeTime.
Coachmen, Dynamax, PrimeTime, Shasta and Palomino were all acquisitions by FR Inc, over the past 10 or so years.
Geo Pro is made by the Forest River division of Forest River Inc.

As for the difference not 100 percent certain. But itll be good for hubs and I. There are things that need to be addressed so I’m glad it’s staying there...

Yea it makes it appear more spacious inside. Idk how often we’ll close those blinds, We have the bike rack in front and I believe the bike rack is intended on being used. Gotta see how difficult it is to get the bikes up.

Swap?

Welcome. I'm in the Hershey/Lancaster PA area, but I have a love affair with NY wine (especially 3 Brothers!) So I'm an annual lake Seneca visitor. Let me know if you want to just trade driveways once a year. Lol.

Welcome from Rochester! We bought our first camper from Wilkins RV in Churchville and had excellent service from them.

Nice! Wilkins in Victor, we stopped at the ChurchVille one in October and that’s what peaked our interest, so far pretty impressed. It’s still at the dealer and we’ll do the full PDI when it comes out of storage.

Haven't used my bike rack yet, keep it in shed so it doesn't get all rusty. Will definitely bring bikes along for Chenango and maybe Brass Ring if other folks are. Front window is nice, I don't have that. Would have given a more 'camping' feeling when laying in bed. I wonder how fogged up that thing gets! We keep our bed up until ready for it, takes up too much space otherwise. Then you can't see window anyhow, so don't feel too bad my unit didn't have it.
