I guess I'm just wondering how much the extra cost gets us in durability. $160 (with a coupon) for one of them, and $345 for the other one. Could buy two of them and probably get more than twice the life out of them for a little less money.
the one i linked to is 278. How long is your 'box'? Measure from back wall to farthest forward point of the box. My box is only just over 17.5 feet, plus ladder on back.

It's not just durability, this one came with nice storage bag, even a weight that clips to the straps, so you can toss the strap beneath the camper from one side to another. Little things. My buddy thought it was custom, it fits so well.

Oh, yea the strap pucks... those look neat, but Im sure I have stuff laying around in the garage that is chuckable under the rig. Storage bag is handy, tho.
After the dealer putting on their hitch (and drilling holes for it) we had them weld the holes and repaint so we could install our hitch we made our maiden voyage home.
Nice looking setup, congrats! I made it very clear to dealer NOT to install a WDH or battery, that I was bringing my own. Glad it worked out for you, and it looks like you had good weather for your first tow.

Yea, towed great. Weather was perfect, surprisingly. Though, it appears that Coachmen forgot to install the tv backer. Waiting to hear back from them, but so far, I’m not hitting anything solid behind the wallboard.
