Hi def antenna

I just bought my first travel trailer,Cherokee 27bdh. We just went out for our first weekend it was spectacular except tv reception. We only got a few channels with the round fixed antenna. Inlaws right next door have a crank up and able to rotate have over 15 channels. My question is can I add another booster or is there a better direct replacement that is better and doesn't require cutting or drilling into brand new camper? I have been searching the forum and really haven't found an answer.

How much money you have to spend? This looks interesting but costs a lot.

By the way, HD Antenna is a marketing scam.
Even rabbit ear antennas can receive HD signals.
I know because I used one for my guest room's HD tv.

It's that you need a HD TV to receive the HD signal. Don't need any special HD antenna.
Our 2006 Winegard batwing gets HD shows fine.

Sounds like you have an omnidirectional antenna. Per the complaints on this forum that type antenna does not perform well at all. To install another type will require roof modification but that is done all the time.

I'm on a permanent site , so I might get a tripod stand and new antenna and run a different coax cable , thanks for the feedback.

You can buy amplified antenna at Walmart for $25.00. There are sites on the web that will show you the direction of stations from your smartphone and allow you to point the antenna if necessary.
