Hi from NC

Wife and I just purchased a 2021 Wildwood 22rbs. We chose this model because of the floorplan, storage, furniture and no frills package price that suits our retard......errr......retired couples campers needs and requirements. We have tons of tent and pop-up camping experience, so we aren't newbies. We are curious about anyone's experience or knowledge on this model or the newer 11 cu.ft. 12 volt refrigerators that come with them. We haven't taken delivery yet as it is being light delivery to dealer damage repaired and slide topper installed. Any help on things to look for at delivery walk-through inspection would be greatly appreciated.

There has been some controversy about the 12v refrigerators. If you don't boondock, that's not a concern.
If the rig doesn't have a slide topper, that might be something you want to consider.
As former tent campers, we bought a similar unit and traveled over 30,000 miles in five years in a similar rig. Some people say it's too small, but it worked for us.

LOL. We are having a slide topper installed and plan to camp where electrical hookup is available. However, being a retired electrician/electrical inspector, I firmly believe in inverter generators for power. BTW, wife thought this model was almost too big. ROFL �� �� �� ��

Welcome to the forum from another NC trailer owner -- mine is a 23' Rockwood Ultralite 2304DS, a dual slide model that gives me loads of internal space when camping. Just back from a 10-day trip to Columbia and Santee SC for a Holiday trip. I'm a widower, but my son and grandson joined me for this this trip to spend Christmas and New Years with other family while maintaining safe social distancing and staying healthy. Love my unit and its smaller size makes it easier to stay in State and National Parks.

One addition I wish I had was slide toppers to protect the tops of my slideouts from leaves and pine needles -- I now need to use a ladder to clear debris when I break camp which is tough on this old guy! BTW, where are you all from in NC?

We are in Alamance Co. about half way between Greensboro and Durham.Told my sister our first campout was going to be next to the house since we live on 18 acres. 2nd trip will be Jordan Lake. BTW, the unit we bought is less than 2' longer than yours, but wife wanted a private bedroom.

I lived in Durham until I retired in 2003 and then moved west to the beautiful mountains here. I've stayed at Poplar Point Campground on Jordan Lake back in April 2017 for an overnight enroute to my daughter's new home near the coast, one of the good park sites we have in the Carolinas.
