Hi from Ontario

After years of traveling across North America in the back of Dodge Caravan, we bought a travel trailer (Rockwood MiniLite with a Murphy bed). The short maiden voyage to a nearby campground went well. Everything worked fine and we enjoyed our new 'home'.
Tomorrow we are off to Northern Ontario for the whole month of September.
Can hardly wait! Just me, Colin, and long bike rides. Let's hope it won't start snowing and that the only thing falling on us are the changing leaves.

We just got back to NH, USA after a trip to AK and back in our Mini Lite with the Murphy Bed? We loved it and found the bed very comfortable after we put a 2 inch memory foam topper on it. The cable releasing the bed support at the head of the bed broke so we just tied the support up and never noticed a difference. We loved our trip through Ontario and hope to go back and explore it more. Enjoy your trip and your Mini Lite.

Must seem like the Taj Mahal after camping from the back of a Dodge Caravan. Congrats on the new MiniLite.

Welcome from a Northern Ontario native living in South Western Ontario. We just returned from the Sturgeon Bay campground north of Parry Sound. We have also camped Pancake Bay, Chutes and Wakami in the past.

So where are you going for the whole month?? We are envious..... Enjoy!

We've had our 2304 Mini Lite (with murphy bed) for a month now. Our shakedown cruise last week was 2 days in Niagara falls (cycling from winery to winery) and a 3 day stint across the border to Letchwood state park in NY. Very pretty area and this is the first time we've viewed the falls from the American side. We even did a bit of boondocking at the Niagara casino.

The big next trip is to head south to SC or thereabouts at the beginning of Nov for 2 weeks (between golf and ski seasons) and returning back up the eastern seaboard. Hopefully we can find a scenic route without too many steep grades.

Sure is nice to get back into camping. We've discovered that we still need vacations even in retirement.
