Hi from Thousand Oaks CA

Hi everybody, we have been using a 2005 Thor Wanderer and had it all tricked out to our needs. Then I saw a Facebook ad for this 2015 EVO TT 2360. It is so nice! We can actually stand up and turn around in the shower. I love the rear kitchen. I like to cook and having it out of the way of traffic is ideal. Our ďoldĒ trailer has been good to us, but itís time for it to go to its next adventurer. Once we get done moving into the EVO, it will become some one elseís home away from home!

Weíve found a few weird things in the EVO. The awning LED strip was hard wired to the battery and not to a switch. The Jensen stereo outputs were wired to the fader. The TV audio output couldnít go to the ceiling speakers, no Bluetooth or hard wires. We think itís weird thereís no wall switch for the ceiling light in the bedroom. The round bar hitch sounds like an old submarine when making tight turns. We read that we can grease it at the hitch end to remedy that. The mattress is like a box spring and the pedestal is noisy. Luckily we can work on all that ourselves. Itís all part of the fun!

Welcome to the forum! All rvs have their 'quirks' and the fact that you've bought a used rv may mean that the former owners have 'tweaked' the rig to meet their needs.

We are astounded at what they simply left alone from the factory. My H can tell by the wiring and connections, whether or not they were modified. Heís a telecom, network, low voltage engineer and looks at this kind of stuff all day. He said the prior owners just lived with it as-was. That it must have been wired on a Friday before Christmas vacation lol. Itís no big deal for us, just unfortunate the previous owners couldnít enjoy it the way it was meant.

I have no idea how they lived with that bed.
