Hi there

Hi everyone I just bought a 2011 Rockwood. Can't wait to get out camping.
I do have a couple questions about the slide,
When I extend the slide all the way it stops, the motor doesn't stall but sounds like a clutch engaging or jumping of the gears. Is this normal?

Welcome!
Yes for a level floor slide it will sound like that at both ends of travel. If it is a In wall slide like a above the floor couch or wardrobe slide should just stop and slow down.

yes, you stop pushing the switch when you hear the ratcheting noise start.

Slide noise

Thanks, so there must be a clutch on the motor that jumps when fully extended or retracted.

Yep, the two slides on the lite make noise loud enough to be heard across the street.
