History Repeats Itself in Georgia

Well.... at least for us it has.

Decades ago when we lived in Michigan, we migrated from tent camping to a used popup. As the kids got older (and larger) we outgrew that and moved up to a travel trailer. After several years of fun and camping, life got busy. Work, school, dance, choir, theater, band, drum line and sports took up all our time. The travel trailer was sold.

Fast forward a decade. Kids are grown and out on their own, so the Mrs and I decided to get back to our camping ways and purchased a popup. Well, Georgia summers are different than Michigan summers. Our A/C just couldn't keep up, plus we're spoiled. We like our creature comforts.

We are now the proud owners of a Forest River Grey Wolf 20RDSE. Our maiden voyage will be this weekend locally, with trips to Florida and Michigan already on the schedule.

Congrats. Sounds like you are Gone with the Wind.

Welcome back to camping and congratulations

Happy that you got back into it. I donít know if you were a member in the past but take advantage of this forum as you break in your new motor home. I have learned so much since Ive been here and just recently resolved a problem very important to me. The members here are the best. Good luck to you and your wife.
