Howdy!
I sarted tent camping in the Boy Scouts. Continued tent camping until brother in law invited us to the lake campground in July. I cut a piece of plywood to fit a home window AC in the passenger window of a conversation van with a bed and portipotty. Ac ran all weekend, but kept us cool when not in the lake. Decided to check out used RV and found a small 1985 class c Country Squire with 53,000 miles for $3000. We jumped in, not knowing anything about RVs. It got smaller, the more we used it. We found a 1998 Winnebago Chieftain on the side of the road and rescued it. We full timed in it for 7 years. I retired and we recently replaced the Winnebago with a 2021 Forrester 3051S, 32 foot class c. We spend most of our time playing with grandkids at "home", but have managed to spend several months at Myrtle Beach and Jordan Lake State Park. We hope to go some new places soon.
