Howdy

I'm Mike.

New to the Forest River forum. I'm on my fourth RV. I have a Rockwood 2442bs. It's my first fifth wheel. Really liking the improved towing. My last trailer was a Keystone Cougar 22RBS. I probably wound up with this trailer because I upgraded my tow vehicle.

I've been reading the forums, both Keystone and FR, lots of good information to be had there. Looking forward to the new adventures.

Welcome aboard. Where do you hail from. It sounds like you are a pretty seasoned camper, but if you have any questions, let us know. There's a ton of knowledge here...someone will come along with an answer. Again, welcome, and hope to see you down the road!!

So upgrading your tow vehicle led to upgrading your rv? That's interesting. Usually people buy an rv, then upgrade their tow vehicle. You did it the correct way. Your experience shows.

Congratulations on your upgrade and welcome to the forum!

I'm in California City, a small town in the California desert. I'm originally from Missouri, but been here since I was very young.
I've done quite a bit of modifying of trailers. It almost seems like I like fixing them up, about as much as I like using them. lol

Very cool. One more question, if you don't mind. What is the meaning of your screen name (Pharphr)? It is pretty unusual.

It's actually an old joke. Years ago, I was going to Comdex, the big computer trade show in Las Vegas. It was me two male friends and I had a fourth ticket. I didn't know if my girlfriend at the time or another guy was going, so I made up a gender non-specific name Pharphr O'Brien. Had a name tag and everything. Neither girlfriend or the other guy went, so I used the name tag myself. Hilarity ensued.
