Hello, all.
New travel trailer owner here: 2021 Cherokee Wolf Pup 18RJBBL toy hauler. I've enjoyed camping most of my life, including a fair amount of backpacking when I was younger when the back could tolerate carrying a 40 pound load and sleeping on the ground, and a popup more recently. I've also had a motorcycle for a good part of my adult life, currently a Honda GoldWing. The RV is a way to combine the two hobbies, which I look forward to doing in earnest. I've already had the trailer out four times since buying it in September, though without the bike.
I'm a life-long resident of the Richmond area, now retired and, for two years, widowed. My professional background is in emergency medical services and nursing -- still a certified paramedic and RN, though not active. I have two grown daughters (both also RNs, incidentally), one of whom is married. No grandchildren yet. My children will be occasional camping companions. Not sure about the son-in-law.
I've already learned a lot just from reading this and other forums, and I look forward to more. And to getting to know ya'll.
Jim
