Howdy from Idaho

Well it is that time in my life to retire (again). Hopefully this time retirement will stick! My wife purchased a new Coachman 26 foot camp trailer last month as a hint to stay retired. Started pulling with a Sierra 5.3 gas 1/2 ton and found it was OK except on long hills and passes. Went down to the GMC dealer and traded it for a 3/4 ton Duramax. Hills are no longer a problem, but my checkbook is exhausted after buying the camper and new pick-em-up truck.

I've been lurking for quite a while and decided to join. Lots of really good information from those who have "been-there, done-that".

You need to listen to your wife and stay retired.
She must be serious if she went out and purchased a trailer. Does she have your itinerary locked down yet? If not, you're going to have a lot of fun planning where to travel.

Welcome from Texas.
