Howdy from NE Arkansas

DW and I just traded our TT in on a new 2014 Silverback 33RL with delivery to be Monday, October 13......We are still new to RVing having bought a 2014 Jayco WhiteHawk 30DSQB bunkhouse in February, 2014....We've spent 35 nights in it but decided those 5 kids and 8 grandkids are too busy with their lives to join us on some fun camping......so....we're moving on to a fifth wheel more suited to our needs and enjoyment...very excited to get it on the road!!!

Welcome!!!
We were just over in Mountain Home this past weekend. I grew up going there all the time to see family and spend time at lake Norfork.
Lots of beautiful places to camp in Arkansas!!!
Have fun with your new Silverback!!!

Welcome from Louisiana. We are headed to Arkansas Sunday for several weeks. It is a beautiful state and hope to see much of it. Open to any suggestions, particularly state parks.

Yep it is!!!
Went to high school there in Mountain Home for a little bit in '97 &'98. Beautiful area, but not a lot of job opportunities in the ozarks other than tourism and the lakes.
I just love north Arkansas, but Oklahoma is home and where all my family and friends are, so AR will just have to be my vacation area....which I'm good with!!

Have been to the Mountain Home area many times for many different reasons......we're new to RVing so recently we've looked at that area a little differently.....loved the week we camped at Bull Shoals/ White River State Park back in the summer....really enjoy trout fishing so the White and Northfork rivers serve that need very well. Camping along either river makes for some good times.
