We are full timers for about 4 years now and loving it. planning on trying gate guard work this winter. Our 1991 32 ft Travel Line was recently totaled. A wheel and tire came off as we drove down the road and the additional weight caused the rear axle to bend to the point the remaining tire was rubbing on the frame. Oh yea lots of smoke. huge towing bill $950, bent frame. Equals TOTAL. USAA paid us and we purchased a 2005 Salem 29RLSS. We were so happy to have found such a nice travel Trailer with a slide hat we could pay cash for. No slide in our last one. What a difference. Then it rained............. yep holes in the roof of the slide. They had been patched with what looks like white duct tape over gray putty like you would use to seal a window. The nearest RV dealer says they can fix it with something called Dycor (sp?). Cross your fingers for us. I expect in the long run all will be well and I will no longer feel like I have the ugliest trailer in the park.
