Howdy from Washington State

Greetings from Washington State. Just joined this site to gather some info on some repairs on our 2016 T231BHXL. I am a native to AZ and my wife's job brought us up to beautiful Washington State about 2 years ago. While we were avid campers back in AZ, sadly we have not taken the trailer out due to our crazy schedules. It's been sitting or about 2 years.

The wife and I made a pact that this year we would get out there and enjoy the great outdoors. About 4 weeks into this whole COVID19, we decided to pull the camper up in our driveway just to get out of the house. This is when we had learned that our trailer has some issues that we were not aware of, hence why I decided to sign up here.

You'll be seeing some posts from me asking for some guidance on how to fix them myself.

Cheers!

Welcome! What part of Washington? We are just outside of Vancouver.

As the locals like to say: “Vancouver (not BC), Washington (not DC)”

Welcome from Eastern Washington.

Owkynuf, that’s too funny. I always have to differentiate between Washington State and DC but you have it twice as bad with Vancouver. I feel you pain.

We are north of you, in McKenna. Last year I drove down to your next of the woods to pick up a 64 Falcon. Cool place!

We camped for a couple of nights at Offut Lake Resort back in March - just a little way from you.

My son goes to EWU in Cheney, and I used to cover that part of the state in my previous job, so I have spent a ton of time on the “dry side”.

Funny story - my family moved to Baltimore for a few years in the early ‘70s. One day I told my 6th grade teacher that we were moving away because my dad had been transferred. She asked where we were going, and I told her “Seattle, WA”. She looked at me for a moment and then said “I’m not familiar with Seattle - is that a suburb of DC?”

6th.
Grade.
Teacher.

I have fun with it. I was born in Wash. DC. When asked for city of birth I just say Washington. Usual response is "City, not State" and I sometimes just repeat it. Some get it, some never will so for those I give in.

Another Welcome here to the OP from Marysville, WA.

And now you know why there is so much head shaking going on.

My daughter works for the local school district. Many, many, stories like this.

Just think. Some of their students will become our future leaders. [emoji15][emoji15]
