Howdy yall

I’m new here and need some help.
I have a dometic RM1350 refrigerator. It’s a 4 door.
It works well for about 2-3 weeks then it warms up in the refrigerator box while the freezer remains frozen.
Here is what I’ve done.
1. It’s level
2. I have added flashing and 2 new fans in the back so the air has to flow over the fins and out the vent. It’s in a slide out.
3. replaced thermister. It is attached from the factory to the roof of the refrigerator box and not on a slide connected to the fins. This unit has a thermostat you set with 1-5 with 5 being the coldest.
4. I’ve done the dollar bill test and the seals seem to be sealing off.
5. I have removed the light bulb in the refrigerator
6. My heat elements ohms out fine and amps are in spec.
7. I have no odor and no yellow powder showing below the stack. There is no rhyme or reason. It does this no matter the temps outside.
Hopefully this info will be enough to get a answer.
Thank you in advance.
This is our 4th fifthwheel and this is the first time I’ve been stumped. I’m just trying desperately to not lose the food or cause my wife to get testy. Lol
She’s a redhead yall.
HELP!! Lol

I see it is your 1st post. Welcome to the forum!

After it stops cooling, if you shut it off (for some length of time) does it cool again for 2-3 weeks?

Have you experienced icing on the fins in the refrigerator section? That model has a defrost cycle that warms up the refrigerator box to melt the ice. Maybe it doesn't work or you are misinterpreting it's operation?

Welcome from SoCal!

I'm inclined to head down the road 5Picker suggested - icing. Wish I could help more.

Yes, after turning it off a couple days it begins to work again. It’s never gotten I’ve on the fins. Another question is on the eyebrow there is a temp readout. This is supposed to be the fresh food temp. It stays in the 30 to 35 degree range. The refrigerator box has never gotten below 40 so I’m wondering if this temp read out is sending a signal to defrost. I don’t know but it would make sense. I don’t know how to repair it or make it read the correct temp in the box.
