Howdy y'all, from southeast Mississippi...

Jim & Angela here, just picked up our 2013 Grey Wolf 26RL down in Hattiesburg today. Heading out in the morning for a little weekend trip close by to make sure everything is okay for the NC mountain trip next week.

Looking forward to exploring this site, reading about others, and sharing our, adventures out on the road.

Hello, and to the forums. Hope you enjoy the stay, and learn a lot, and can teach others what you already know. Hope all goes well. I'm in the the NC mountains now, bring warm clothes for the nights, lows in the low 60's or below. Mainly enjoy.

Thanks for the welcome...

The cool nights is one of the reasons I'm ready to get back up there, my wife has never been is another reason, but getting to ride the area again is the main reason.

Still pondering on how I'm gonna get the Tiger in the 5.5' bed without the tailgate. Had thought about beefing up the rear rack on the TT, but don't want to void the warranty. Once the warranty is out though.....

SE Mississippi? Did 16 days in Jackson Co. MS, working out of Gautier HS, immediately post-Katrina. Made it back there for one overnight, on our way into Terrebone Parish, LA a few years later for Gustav. I've told my wife a few times that I'd love to make an "I-10 Vacation Trip" across the South and the Gulf Coast to all of the places that I've been on hurricane assignments.... Port St. Lucie FL, Jacksonville/Duval Co. FL, Okaloosa Co FL, Santa Rosa Co. MS, Terrebone Parish, LA.... and many of the places in between!

Hi and congrats on your 2013 Grey Wolf 26RL! I'm impressed that you are heading out for a trip the day after taking delivery.

BTW - I like your smile icon ...

We live out in the sticks between Meridian and Laurel.

Well, being from Florida originally, and working offshore from '81 to '90 while living in Ms, I've spent more time on I-10 between Jacksonville, and Galveston than I care to remember. There are some great things to see on the back roads off of that slab down there though..

Thanks...

The 26RL is the 6th TT I've owned over the years. We also have a little vintage Shasta I'm going to fix up this winter for my wife's "glamping" get together's

That emoticon was swiped from one of the motorcycle forums I belong to...
