Hunnís New 37FLH

We are picking up a new 37FLH next week! Our first fifth wheel! We pull with a F250 and will be using a Reese Goosebox hitch.

Look forward to any advice on items to check or correct with a new FLH.

You should ask your model-specific questions in the Sabre sub-forum.

Congratulations on the new RV! Make sure you download, print and take with you the PDI check list on this forum. Click on the Library link above, then look on the left side for the checklist in the Most Popular Files section.

When you go thru the PDI with your technician, video the entire session with them so you get everything they show you, and the answers to any questions you have at that time. Ask lots of questions on how to operate EVERYTHING and don't let them press you for time. You've spent a lot of money on this and shouldn't feel rushed through this walk-thru. Real easy to forget stuff in a couple months after your PDI walk-thru and a phone video will be lots of help to reference it when needed. This is especially the case since it's your first 5'er.

I had several issues I wish I would've checked closer at my PDI that I'll recommend to you below:

1. Have them plug in a TV to the cable in the master bedroom. Mine had a problem when I tried to use it and they thought it may have been damaged by a staple driven thru it. Campingworld had to install another cable run and junction box for me before it worked. Turn on the TV in the living room too to make sure its cable connection works as well. We also had a problem with that.

2. Make them connect the city water inlet in the docking station and verify there are no leaks coming from it. I had to fix it myself after Campingworld failed at it twice. Had water all thru the basement storage area and all the gear soaked when I discovered it on our first trip.

3. While connected to city water, run the shower with the door closed and spray around the door. I had a good size leak that started at the shower door because it wasn't sealed correctly and had large pools of water that ran into the bedroom.

I've had mine for 10 months now and have done 26 upgrades/modifications to my FLH, plus I had to fix many issues that developed in that short time that weren't repaired correctly by Campingworld. Just let me know if I can help out with any specific questions.

We saw this one and my DW loved it. She would like it, or something similar, to be our next rig. It's very nice!

Except for bringing ours home and some yard camping, we haven't even used our 3770, yet.

Congrats and enjoy!

Welcome to the forum. If anything is wrong while doing your PDI make sure they fix before you leave the lot and before you give them money. Later RJD
