I have a bad feeling...

Getting ready to hit the road in my new Forester 2351 and the frig will not turn on. It is a 12V Magic Chef WD-282FWDC. Per instructions, I held down the Set button for at least 10 seconds. Nothing. Battery is fully charged. Checked breakers and fuses. All good. My bad feeling is that the frig might not be plugged in. I am accustomed to having propane/electric. First time with a 12V unit. So, before I kill myself pulling the frig to check the plug, am I overlooking something?

There may not be a plug if it's hard wired to 12 volt DC, but you could check for 12 volts at the terminals.

Not that it will make you feel any better, but the 12 volt refrigerators FR is installing lately seem to have a high failure rate based on forum anecdotal data.

I wish you success in your troubleshooting and repair.
