I may have lost my mind…LOL!!! 🤣

Greetings from West Texas!

After 60 years of hard work, taking our company public, selling out, taking it back, selling it again and now cashing in on our retirement plan. (When you’re self employed you do what you can without having to stand on a street corner!!!) the wife and I have decided to buy a Berkshire xlt 45a and enjoy the fruits of years of hard work!

Would appreciate any input, advice and keeping laughter to a minimum as we ask questions and ease into this new adventure!

Look forward to getting to know folks, hearing the stories and maybe even meeting on the road!

Congrats on the retirement plan. I just want to welcome you to the forum from the Space Coast of Florida.

I know nothing about the RV you are looking at but you will find many knowledgeable and friendly people on here.

No laughing, we are started from zero at some point. Ask away… enjoy..

Amazing! So I'm guessing you're at least 80 years old jumping in, very impressive. Best of luck!

Hi Greg,

Welcome! My wife and I have a Berkshire 39A, we like it! We have had some issues, but have worked through them. Although I am still working, I hope to sell out my share of the business to my partners and begin serious travel starting next year. We have owned 3 motorhomes prior to the Berkshire, this is our final one!

Hahahah, you said 60 years of hard work! The first 15-20 doesn't count! Unless you were a child laborer.... Either way you paid your dues.

The joys of family business…ranching and pharmacy. Everyone works from the time you can!

That's good to hear. A lot of 'kids' around here don't seem to work until age 25. Maybe. Seems like a lot of failure to launches here.
