Is It a Forest River?

Hey Fellow Campers,
We just bought our 2nd travel trailer, a 2021 East to West Alta 2350 KRK and love it. I'm told it's a sister company to FR so think this is where I belong as I haven't ’t find a forum specific for E2W. We've mostly camped the MO/IA area, anywhere we can find with a river to kayak, but are preparing for some longer trips farther away. I appreciate these forums and have found the information invaluable!

If you are looking for longer trips with kayaking, a bunch of years ago we went to Pocomoke River State Park in Maryland. They had "water trails" where you kayak through the cypress swamps. We didn't camp there, but camping is available. We stayed at Assateague State Park with the wild ponies. Very fun go cart parks on Ocean City MD. which is nearby. Be prepared to make reservations months in advance

Hi and Welcome to FRF.
East to West is a relatively new FR division of trailers. It was created by Pete Leigl, FR's CEO, for his daughter to run.
Forest River is the corporate name and there are many different divisions under that corporate name.
If you had looked in the TT and 5th Wheel section of the Forum, you would have found the East to West sub-forum there.
Familiarize yourself with the different sections of the Forum and their sub-forums. That way you'll have a better idea where to post or do research.

Welcome from Virginia!!!

If you are out here for a visit Near Roanoke / Clifton Forage area or Lynchburg to Richmond the James River is a big Kayaking / Canoeing river or even the New River The New River runs south to north into West Virginia.

I can watch the James River from the house.

The New and Gauley rivers in West Virginia are known for their good rafting/kayaking. The experts check the website for "Dam Release" days for a more exciting ride.

I don't have much kayaking experience, but have rafted Marble Canyon/Grand Canyon on the Colorado River in 2015, 2017, and 2021. Eight days, camping on the banks and hiking the side canyons.
