Just got her home!

Hi all! DW & I just brought home our beautiful new-to-us 2012 Wildwood 22RKS with an aftermarket front bunk room modification yesterday. First time pulling anything, but the F250 handled her beautifully. We're planning to take her to the East Coast this summer as we change duty stations. We'll also have a 2018 Lance 825 slide-in camper on the bed, which will make things nice and heavy. Payload won't be overloaded, but a bit closer to that limit than normal. I'm just glad Torklift makes awesome, if not pricey, aftermarket towing extenders and heavy duty hitch receivers that will make things more secure and safer.

If anyone has simultaneous camper-trailer haul & tow experience, I'd love to hear from you.

Glad to be here!

So your pulling a trailer using a truck with a slide in camper? When did your Mother in Law decide to join you on your upcoming trips?

I had a friend tow a 30 foot bunkhouse TT to Disney with his motorhome for enough sleeping room for the whole group. Never have seen a truck with a pick up camper towing a tt.
