Lets Do This.

At 72 and 67 my wife and I purchased our first travel trailer and are about to hit the road. Should be fun.

If we live until 2022 our ultimate goal is to travel from Savannah, GA to Fairbanks, Alaska.

Thanks for all the help from you folks.

That sound like a great goal. You're going to pass through some beautiful country. Slow down and enjoy it.
Are you headed there now?

Very cool. Congratulations on the new ride. I spent 3 years in Fairbanks (well, just south at Eielson AFB) courtesy of the U.S. Air Force. Waaay too cold for me, but the summers are beautiful there. And the fishing is awesome. Enjoy the trip and keep us posted.

Good idea - we are hoping to get back to Canada later this year.
I would suggest that you pick up "The Milepost" - it would be excellent for planning.

If you're going to drive up "the slot" (Alaska Hwy), you have to slow down. Otherwise your rig will be used up by the time you reach Whitehorse.
