Leveling Jacks

When trying to level a motorhome using the automatic leveling jacks is it safe to have the tires completely off the ground. Will this harm the jacks?

There are a couple things to watch for, don't lift the rear tires off the ground, you won't have any parking brake function , and if you fully extend the leveling rams they aren't as study to side movement, my opinion is try to keep all tires on ground, others will say its OK to lift fronts off ground. If you completely lift the MH you COULD! run the risk of buckling the rams over.

No don't do it. If needed place blocking under wheels so they are never off any surface.

Never lift wheels completely off of a surface albeit the ground or your leveling blocks...
