Loving this camping lifestyle

Hello from upstate NY...just bought a 2015 Wildwood X-lite and am on our 5th trip in 2 months. Having lots of great times and hope to continue this for years to come.
I am having a difficult time though finding a owners manual for this 231 RBXL that explains everything about my model. Forest River send me a generic book that just covers the basic stuff.
If anyone has this unit and feels like they can help,
Thank You

Hi John,

That's probably all you're going to get from Forest River (at least, that's all WE got).

An RV is really just a collection of systems, none of which were made my Forest River. Were you provided with manuals for:
  • Axles
  • AC
  • furnace
  • water heater
  • stove
  • oven
  • microwave
  • entertainment unit
  • TV
  • fridge/freezer...?

FR provides only the basics in their "Owner's" Manuals. As was said previously, information on each of the systems as provided by that system/component manufacturer is what you wind up with. I think I got everything that was in our Owners Manual off the Internet and saved to a thumb drive for future reference. Being as your rig was used, something like the axle and brake information may be more difficult to get but generically, there is a lot out there information out there that may be applicable.

BTW, welcome to the group, from a Pennsylvanian. You should be able to get a lot of information from participation in these forums.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow upstate New Yorker. As others have posted, the owners manuals, even for us that bought new, leave a lot to be desired. Our Silverback manual read like it was written 3 model years previous. Make a list of things you need help with, if the dealer won't help we will. Relax and enjoy. God Bless.
