New 260 RDL owner in sunny Ca

Hi all,
Marc in sunny CA here.
Just picked up a used 2013 Crusader 260RDL for the wife and I.
Not our first trailer, nor the best quality trailer, but we like the floorplan and the weight reduction from our previous unit.

So far I have:
converted all the lights to LED
rebuilt one of the booths for the dinette due to poor build quality.
Ordered a new electric heater rod for the Atwood water heater.
Found a partial anode rod in the Atwood water heater... seems strange.

Need to troubleshoot the furnace still. Sparks, ignites, burns for 5 seconds and then shuts down.

On the plus side... got it for a great price and it is in overall good looking condition.

.
Regarding the furnace... have you turned on the stove to bleed out the propane lines? With the water heater, it's possible that the rest of the anode rod was 'eaten up' which it is part of the design. Some people don't realize that the rod has to be replaced occasionally.

Welcome to the forum!
I thought the Atwood tanks were aluminum, thus eliminating the need for the anode rods. I know my previous trailer used them, but it had a suburban H20 heater.
