New 282RK Owner!!!

Hello from the HOT south Texas area. We are the proud new owners of a 2016 Wildwood Heritage Glen 282RK and we love it. We have camped 4 nights already and about to go another 4 nighter before our 3 week adventure north this fall. We are not new to RVing, having had a trailer in the 80's and a motor home in the 90's. Now we are retired it gives us more time on the road. Any 282RK owners out there that want to throw a tip my way, i'm thankful.

Ron

Welcome to the forum from the north coast. These are the first things you need to get if you don't already have them:

1. Progressive Industries EMS-PT30C Surge Protector
2. TST 507 TPMS system for your tires
3. Change out all your interior light bulbs to LED'S (I prefer the bright white).
Might as well do your exterior lights while you are at it.

Welcome! Hope you love the 282RK as much as we do ours. Close to 10k miles towing and only had to replace the awning motor. Install a battery cutoff switch as soon as you can. Any questions just let me know.
