New Caller...New camper...and hard to find?

Greetings from the beautiful piedmont of North Carolina.

I just put my down payment on a 2015 Clipper 15FL. It's a 15 footer and very light...exactly what I wanted. My wife, of course, liked the 38 footer with fireplaces, 8 slide-outs, and a butler <eye roll>. I wanted a light, inexpensive, and small footprint travel trailer...with a full bathroom. (as I've gotten older that has become more and more important).

ANYWAY...the model I got is the Coachmen Clipper 15FL. Which is hard as heck to find out about. I've only found a couple that were ever for sale. There's only 2 right now nationwide for sale (one used and one new...which is the one I bought).

Anyone else have one of these? Looking for stories, tips, and tricks. Not new to camping...just always was a tent guy. This is my FIRST travel trailer.

Cheers

Jay

Welcome from Mebane, NC. You will find most systems on trailers tend to be relatively universal. You may find more info by researching the models of appliances etc. Lots of great information on these forums.

Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats on your 2015 Clipper 15FL. That's going to be alot easier to tow and back up than the 38 footer with fireplaces, 8 slide-outs, and butler .

Welcome,

Heck, a lot of folks on this site would consider adding your TT as MIL quarters!

My thought, if you like it, that is all that is important! Safe travels and .

Nice!

That is one of the great things about a camper...changing things to make it your own!

Love the little trailer!!!! That's all I really wanted but was outvoted by all the children. Haha. Love the modification. I would have done the same. Sit outside.

We just ordered the 4" topper from Sam's. Glad to hear that you like it. It's coming tomorrow.
