New Camper from the Baltimore, MD region

Hello everyone, just recently purchased our first Pop up Tent, Rockwood Premier 2302 and been on one trip with it, as well as a couple of trips in the driveway. No complaints as of yet. Also will be camping with a 4 year old and a 4 month old so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Welcome to FR Forums. BCFD is that Baltimore City or County Fire Department? One of our favorite campgrounds when the kids were small was Elk Neck State Park in Northeast Md. It is about an hour away from Baltimore.
Great thing about the Pop Up is you can get it into almost any site in the campground.

I work for the city so the main reason I purchased the camper was to get as far away from city life as possible. Don't mind being around people, just not clumped together. Elk Neck looks like a great place, and not too far, my only question is there a way to avoid the ridiculous toll price or just suck up the 15 bucks?

Depends on where you live. I always just sucked it up. You can take Rt 1 North and go across the dam and come down Rt 222.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Carroll Countian. When my DS was the age of your eldest we often camped in Gettysburg. Several of the campgrounds had activities that would keep him occupied and it was close to the house so we were not cooped up in the truck for long. Two other State Parks would be Cunningham Falls and Rocky Gap, both have beaches and playgrounds but some sites do have steep drop offs.
