New Cedar Creek Cottage 40CCK Member

Hi All,

Glad to be here. My lady friend and I are from rainy Washington, State. I don't even own a truck, just a Toyota RAV4 I use to haul a motorcycle to the track and back occasionally. Anyway, I bought a membership in a private RV Resort in sunny and warm North Palm Springs, CA three years ago. Part of the deal included an aging 2007 Carriage Cameo LXI F35KS3 from a widow who didn't want to trailer from upper Alberta anymore. It served me well, but this May I bought the Cottage as a true "destination trailer" and have been busy setting it up before we head back home in a few weeks. We've been down here since November and it's getting a little warm and missing our families.

Anyway, we really like the overall extra space and home sized appliances. I joined to learn more about tips and techniques for "winterizing" trailers that don't actually see cold temperatures but get left in the heat during the summer.

Thanks for having us.

Thought I'd throw in a picture of our Cottage on my lot.
We have a nice gazebo and a Tuff Shed squeezed in there as well.

What a beautiful lot (and trailer, too)! Welcome from the mountains of Arizona.

Congratulations and welcome! That's an absolutely beautiful Destination and site.
Unfortunately, I don't know if anyone has experience leaving a permanent site for the summer. Perhaps someone will post their experience.
In the meantime, your best advice for that particular area will probably be other residents or people in the office.
