New Family From OHIO - First RV

Hello all,

We just ordered our first RV - a Flagstaff Mini Lite 25BRDS. My wife and I have two little girls and a German Shepherd and we wanted something small enough we could park at our house next to the garage, but big enough that we could all fit inside. The murphy bed/bunkhouse floor plan was exactly what we were looking for.

I've kinda gone nuts and bought a ton of stuff already, like brass fittings, power conditioner/surge protector, water pressure regulator, leveling blocks and chalks, and more. The trailer isn't supposed to be delivered until after the first of the year, but I've got the fever!

Glad for this forum and the resource it is. Thanks for having us

Welcome to the club!

Just to be clear, the Flagstaff is a MICRO-Lite, Rockwood is the MINI-Lite.

We have a Mini/Micro-Lite specific forum here:

Welcome aboard. You'll find this is a very popular and active forum, and as Walter mentioned most questions can be answered with a quick search, but by all means share your experiences, ask your questions and submit photos of future travels. Pictures of the puppers are especially popular.
Most of all, have fun!

Before you start outfitting the camper with household supplies, make a couple trips to Salvation Army, Goodwill, or other local thrift store for pots, pans, bowls, dishes, etc. that can be left in the camper. Then, take a look at stuff at Dollar Tree or other $1 store(think baskets, toilet brush, kitchen gadgets).

This will save you lots and lots of $$.

One thing I did was purchased a specific color sheets, towels, etc. that is JUST FOR THE CAMPER. I purchased white since I could use bleach on them and get them clean even if they got really nasty after hiking, etc.
