Howdy everyone, wife and I are taking delivery of our brand new 2013 Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 832IKBS with the Diamond package this weekend. Moving up from a 21 foot Surveyor so this should be an interesting camping and towing change.
Been surfing the forums for a good PDI checklist, the dealership is actually delivering our rig directly to the campground for us, we will do the PDI there along with signing all the paperwork. We are moving in the same day and will spend the next nine months living in it. Yes we have all of our fingers and toes crossed that there will not be any major problems with the rig.
We dont even have our truck here, (thats why they are delivering it to the campground) one of our kids will drive it out from Washington State later this summer to us.
Any good suggestions on things to look out for that are common problems with the Flagstaff line of TT's? I haven't found any common problems beyond the typical issues associated with something mechanical that travels down the road and was built by humans.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Congrats on your 2013 Flagstaff Classic. Just make sure everything works. Check the furnace, AC, water heater, stove, everything down to each light and outlet, blind etc. Once your dealer drops it off and you sign the papers if might be a hassle getting something fixed/corrected.
PDI went ok only problem I could find was the hoses from the propane tanks to the regulator were leaking. Quickly fixed with some teflon tape. The heater thermostat acted up on the second night, wouldnt start and then wouldnt shut down. Seems to be fine now. Overall great rv, sure is comfortable, good workmanship all around. Got lots of nice comments at the campground and lots of advice about living full time.

Are they going to replace the hoses? Just curious since this is a brand new unit. I would recommend keep testing the heater when possible to make sure it is running correctly.
Campground neighbors are a great resource for help & advice. Sounds like you are on the right path.
