New Florida owner...
Finally lashed out and bought one
after an extensive search settled on a GREAT couples trailer , with the ability to have some guests as needed
Salem Cruise lite 24rlxl
The rear living is so spacious and the extra large windows brings the outdoors inside.... I just love it!

Welcome from Gainesville, FL. You'll find the state parks in FL and GA are all pretty nice. Water and 30A/50A power are pretty standard, with some having sewer connections. Reservations are a must. Good luck getting into popular sites like Anastasia.

Hey you're in the same county as me.
Tarpon Springs here.
I expect 90% of my time will be staying in FL
staying mostly in the State Parks, now that I am eligible for the senior discount ... who can say no to 50% off?

been studying the Parks around here.
they do look pretty inviting.
Gotta chuck out all them snowbirders ... so we gots more room 
Right now still working on fitting out the inside and getting some repairs done on our truck
We towed her home from Ocala to Tarpon springs along 75
that went pretty well except the engine struggled somewhat...
Did a tune up this weekend new plugs , wires and air filter motor is now a lot more responsive and sounds healthier.

What are you towing with?
Florida's Sr. discount recently became less valuable since they initiated a utility fee, with no discount on the fee.
Get a National Park Service Lifetime Senior Pass and check out Federal govt sites. The Corps of Engineers has sites all over the country that are usually nice and always dirt cheap.
Since you're in Pinellas County, check out camping in Ft. DeSoto. Unless something changed, county residents get a 1 month advantage over the general public on making reservations, which are a must.

Decent shocks will help.
As stated many times throughout this forum, the tow vehicle's payload capacity will limit your trailer size more than the "towing" capacity will.

Yukon appeared to hold up well to the tongue weight
the dealer set up the hitch and looks like they got it pretty spot on
about an inch sag when hitched
edit..
load cap is around 1500# for the Yukon
so I expect I be ok if I don't increase tongue weight much further or add passengers
will be watching my loading.... so most weight is near/over the axles
It actually towed very well considering the known suspension problems.... just couldn't get it done before delivery
shocks on it appear pretty new
so when the rest is fixed will determine if need shocks and/or air spring upgrade
