New folks

My wife and I are new, soon to be owners, of a 287BH. We have looked forward to this for quite a while. We are from Maine. I was in the U S Army fo 16 years. So traveling is not new to us. I currently work in the maintenance department at a grocery distribution center. My wife is a Medical Assistant in a large medical group. We have been happily married for 37 years.

Welcome from Illinois. We have relatives in Waterville. Wife and I just celebrated our 50th on May 26th. There are a lot of knowledgeable folks here, so you can always get help if you need it.

Is Maine continuing to close their borders to outsiders? Hope not, because we are wanting to pull our trailer up there for some serious "beauty camping".

I was in the Navy (VietNam era), a corpsman attached to 4th Marine Divison medical support. Can't say as I miss it much.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your service. When you go to pick up your new tt ma sure to do a good PDI and make them fix things before you leave the dealer. Later RJD

Welcome from Wisconsin and thank you for your service. There is a PDI checklist under the Library tab above to print out and take with you. Make sure you do a thorough PDI before you hand over any more $ or sign anything. Take your time and don't let your dealer rush you thru it.

Welcome from Missouri! Thanks for your service! Of all the places I was stationed while I was in the Navy, Maine was our favorite! We are looking forward to making a trip there with our fiver in the future - hopefully next fall. As Widcampsin said, make sure you do a very thorough PDI and make them show you everything - especially if something isn't clear. It will make a world of difference!
