New Glampers here. We just purchased a 2019 Prime Time Tracer 260KS for just my wife and myself. We did this so there was no way our adult (who live at home in college/working during this pandemic) kids could ask to come with us- need some time to ourselves- lol. We are new to Glamping as we used to tent camp but getting a bit too old to do this. We are not new to pulling trailers as we have a small farm and have pulled cattle and other trailers for many years now. There has been discussion of going part time or full time travel as I can work from anywhere for my off the farm job and my wife will be transitioning to working in a Animal Hospital to a professor or speaking career so she could also work anywhere at that time, but that is just discussion. But right now just enjoying pulling our little house with us. We went for our first trip a few weeks ago. Prior to that we just stayed in it on our farm land to get a feel for the bed, shower, cooking appliances and whatnot. Great to find a forum that I can search and ask questions to make the most out of our TT.
Those adult children living at home will come in handy if you decide to camp for any length of time. As former tent campers, we can definitely recommend the glamping lifestyle.
And that is what we did for our first trip. The kids were there to take care of our animals and water all of the veggies that we are growing. I know one day they will move out (I'm actually ready to be a empty nester)and will have to figure the farm chores out.
