New Forest River Forums Sponser
I greatly appreciate Mike Rimmers Invitation to join this forum. I have been actively involved with RVing for 25 of the last 50 years. It started with a 1954 Kenskill trailer when I was 6 years old and most recently my wife and I purchased a Keystone Sprinter fifth wheel in 2002.
We were very disappointed with the bounce and shake in this trailer. Very soon I started working on a very basic engineering solution for parked trailers and filed for a patent in July of 2004. After several years of testing and redesign the system was introduced to the market in June of 2007. During this time I have worked under more trailers than I ever imagined and learned more about trailer shaking and bouncing than I ever expected. I hope I can use this experience as well as my mechanical engineer background to help members of this forum to better understand the shaking mechanism and how to reduce it.
Of course I would like to sell my units, but they are not the answer to everyone’s needs, so I hope the information I and others on the forum provide will assist RVers in purchasing equipment that meets their expectations.
