New FR owner in Portland, OR

Hi everyone!

We just ordered a Surveyor SV-210 and can't wait to pick it up! Were moving up from a tent trailer, tired of dealing with tent fabric and the setup/teardown/rain-on-the-canvas issues. That last one is a real headache in Oregon

Anyway were excited and ready for our first TT Party!!

Welcome

Hello and welcome. This is a great forum; small and cozy; friendly; helpful. We did the same as you last year; moved from the pup to a SV235RKS. LOVE the hardsides and would never go back to canvas. Enjoy your new trailer.

Me again

We have friends in Vancouver Wash. Right across the river from you isn't it? Nice part of the country.

As a former pop-up camper I can tell you that you will really appreciate the travel trailer. The amount of storage, the room, and the ease of setup and takedown will be immediately apparent on your first trip. The thing that struck me the most was not having all of the packing and unpacking (pack the tow vehicle, drive to the location, set up the camper, unpack the tow vehicle, pack the tow vehicle, break the camper down, unpack the tow vehicle).

You will enjoy your TT for sure!!

Thanks for the welcome

Right now the TT is still a frame at the Dalles, OR fabrication plant, but soon...so soon!

And yes, Vancouver is just across the Columbia river.
